I am Toshamalla McCloud, a wife, mother, sister, auntie, friend, and sister-cousin who, like you, am exploring my own individual lifelong journey to inner peace and well-being. Over the years I’ve watched the strong women in my family LOVE, CARE and SACRIFICE for others, while barely taking a breath to prioritize their own physical and emotional health.

 

 

As much as I have admired their fortitude and unwavering strength, I’ve come to realize that self-care is more than a buzzword, and certainly should not be a luxury only afforded to some. This non-profit established by Rachel Cargle provides therapy support nationally for Black Women and Girls. The Loveland Foundation believes that Black Women and Girls deserve access to healing, and that healing will impact generations.
